Odiham Cottage Hospital to reopen in 2012.Date Posted: 12/12/11
Although the hospital is now closed the Trustees are delighted to announce that it will re-open in the New Year.
Calleva, the Basingstoke based GP consortium, which includes the GPs of Odiham, Hook and Hartley Wintney, are taking over responsibility for providing local healthcare services from NHS Hampshire Primary Care Trust. They are working with their provider organisation, Southern Health, to offer a range of clinic activities and to use the hospital as a base for their integrated care team staff who provide care in the community.
Further the Trustees can announce that they are in discussion with Rosefield Day Centre in Hartley Wintney for the relocation of their successful day club to the hospital in recognition of the benefits to clients that such a move would bring. Also St Michaels Hospice has expressed interest in providing palliative services at the hospital and are examining a number of clinic based options.
